Captain's Cabin Suite
The Captain’s Cabin Suite is our most luxurious &
largest suite in the Inn. This suite features double-glass doors
that open to spectacular views of our beautiful Muskegon Lake and
overlooks the Lakeshore Yacht Harbor Boat Club. You can also catch a
one-of-a-kind sunset just for two on your very own private balcony
while lounging and sipping your favorite beverages. The Captain’s
quarters has room enough for him and his “first mate”! Featuring a
more masculine touch with all oak flooring, a replica coal burning,
remote controlled fireplace, an in-room lighted & heated “Waterfall
Jacuzzi”, just for two. An antique table is nestled in a corner that
allows you to enjoy your breakfast in the room (optional) or a late
night snack.
In addition, enjoy your private, but cozy
sitting room where you can relax on the couch and put your feet
up on a special bench and watch your favorite “BluRay” movie on
a high definition, flat screen TV or just watch your favorite
cable movie. The sofa also pulls out into a Queen-guest-bed for
additional room if you happen to bring along family members that
are accompanying you. If you are traveling on business, there is
a desk if you are so inclined and need space to work or just to
write a letter or post cards to friends. Of course you can use
our free WI-FI wireless internet service at your convenience.
Your private ceramic floor tiled bathroom with a full shower is
right off the sitting room.
The Captain’s Suite takes control of the air-conditioning
system, through a state-of-the art, remote controlled hand held
unit. An ornate medallion creates a beautiful backdrop for the
decorative “Hunter” ceiling fan with lights, the wall lanterns
over the bed, and the lights over the Jacuzzi Spa are all
controlled by wall mounted dimmers so you can set the mode and
fan speed you desire. Plush robes and towels await our quest
after taking a relaxing Jacuzzi Spa massage or just getting out
of a hot shower. Additional items available for our guest use
and enjoyment are: a hair dryer, a makeup removal towel, and our
special ‘bath salts’ that softens the water for a more relaxing
atmosphere. A Shower dispenser system dispenses shampoo,
conditioner, and shower gel are all provided for you. Our very
own, Chef Barbara, will prepare and create for your enjoyment, a
full-breakfast every morning and will cater to your dietary
needs!
